Concept

Evergreen Modern Flowers is an boutique, luxury floral design studio specializing in contemporary arrangement. While our studio is based in the South Metro Atlanta area, we take on floral projects anywhere in the world.

Our concept combines the foundational elements of architecture and sculpture, to create stories through flowers that evoke artistry and authenticity. Our primary work focuses on weddings, corporate events, and bespoke arrangements for interiors. We also provide florals and installations for film, television, and editorials.

Creative Direction

EMF Creative Director, Ignacio Alvarez, has expressed his artistic abilities and creativity through several mediums– including painting, sculpture, editorial styling, and now: flowers. Ignacio's professional background is in luxury-residential interior design, where he practiced at high-profile firms in New York for over a decade.

Ignacio is an honors graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a major in Interior Design and a minor in Architectural History. He also earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Contemporary Visual Art, while abroad in Barcelona, Spain.

Prior to opening Evergreen Modern Flowers, Ignacio spent time abroad in Madrid, Spain, where he earned professional certification in Floral Design from Savia Bruta Flower School.

Sustainability

Evergreen is committed to sustainable floristry. We undertake environmentally friendly practices to reduce the carbon footprint of bringing flowers from their source to our customers. We partner with eco-friendly Georgia-based farms in Brooks, Athens, and Fayetteville that practice sustainable growing methods, recycle water, and minimize waste.

We design with green mechanics and use sustainable products as much as possible. Reducing waste, composting and recycling, and repurposing leftovers are at the top of our priorities.

We firmly believe that it’s our responsibility to act now and be cognizant of how our actions, purchases, and disposal of products impact the environment. Practicing sustainable floristry and being overall more environmentally conscious will go a long way to ensuring the beauty we get to enjoy from nature today will still be here for our children and the many generations to come.
